21 tbsp olive oil

42 large onions, thinly sliced
51 tbsp butter
61 tbsp olive oil
71 tsp sugar (helps with caramelization)
81 tbsp balsamic vinegar (optional, for depth)

10½ cup crumbled blue cheese (Gorgonzola, Roquefort, or Stilton)
112 tbsp sour cream or Greek yogurt (optional, for extra creaminess)
121 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Directions1-Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F).
-Spread frozen steakhouse fries on a baking sheet.
-Toss with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
-Bake 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
2-While fries bake, heat butter and olive oil in a skillet over medium-low heat.
-Add sliced onions, sugar, and a pinch of salt.
-Cook slowly (about 20 minutes), stirring occasionally, until onions are soft, golden, and caramelized.
-Stir in balsamic vinegar (if using) during the last 2 minutes of cooking.
3-Once fries are ready, transfer to a serving platter or cast-iron skillet.
-Top with the caramelized onions.
-Sprinkle generously with crumbled blue cheese.
-Dollop with sour cream or drizzle lightly if desired.
4-Garnish with fresh parsley.
-Serve hot as a side or sharable appetizer.
